Horsekeeping® Videos Introduces 3-Video Set with Cherry Hill
March 12 2004--Colorado book and magazine authors Cherry Hill and Richard Klimesh, known as the "KlimTeam", have recently added videos to their stable.
Cherry Hill, one of America's most respected authors of horse books, and its most prolific, has two dozen books and over 1000 magazine articles to her credit. One reason Hill's advice is so trusted is that she writes about what she knows and loves. She is not only an active horse trainer, but has been a horse show judge and a university equine instructor.
Richard Klimesh, her husband, is also a writer and a contributing illustrator and photographer for many of Hill's books. While Hill often works from the top of one of her seven horses, Klimesh works from the bottom up - he is a certified farrier and has provided therapeutic horseshoeing for the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, the Budweiser Clydesdales, and private horse owners. Klimesh is also an accomplished carpenter and blacksmith, skills that always come in handy when building and maintaining horse facilities.
For the 101 Horsekeeping Tips videos, Hill has rounded up some of her favorite hints and used her trademark "reader friendly" style of writing to bring them to life. For easy navigation, each tip has a number on the screen that corresponds to an enclosed printed program. Here's a peek inside:
- When should you and when shouldn't you feed treats to your horse? Tips 8 and 9.
- Want to learn secrets to growing and keeping long silky tails? Tips 29, 30, and 32.
- Which hay should you buy and how much should you feed each day? Tips 38, 39, and 40.
- Did you know that a toothbrush can save you dewormer dollars? Tip 64.
- What is a Water Buddy and how can it prevent wasted water and flooded pens? Tip 83.
- How on earth can donuts reduce your horse blanket repair bill? Tip 95.
The KlimTeam's Horsekeeping® Videos are designed to make valuable horsekeeping information easy to understand and fun to watch. 101 Horsekeeping Tips is for viewers of all ages and of all levels of horse experience.
