80% of parents are too embarrassed to have "Sex Talk" with their children—new *award winning video provides alternative
Parker, CO January 31 2004--Organizations like the Kaiser Foundation and the Center for Disease Control are bombarding the public with messages about the importance of sex education at an early age. One tiny production company is leading the cause. NTOCCP Ltd has just released two pre-teen sex educational videos (boys version and girls version) titled, "The Birds, The Bees, And Me." Because the topics of sex and puberty are so uncomfortable and awkward, most parents procrastinate the talk until it's too late or they dismiss it altogether. Parents get frazzled and embarrassed when it's time to talk about puberty and sex. "The Birds, The Bees, And Me" video explains all of the uncomfortable details, yet still allows parents to keep the communication open.
"I stunk at it, my parents stunk at it, and your parents most likely stunk at it too!" says Tom McCaffrey, producer of "The Birds, The Bees, And Me". "I know the communication I have with my children is great but when it comes to discussing puberty and sex, it's awkward and uncomfortable for all of us. Peer pressure, teen pregnancy, and STD's apparently aren't enough to help us overcome our fears and that's why these videos were developed."

oth versions of "The Birds, The Bees, And Me" is presented by a young college kid to help put kids at ease. The presenter discusses puberty, sex, and childbirth in a friendly but detailed manner. The video retails for $24.95.
"Of all the resources that exist to aid parents in teaching their children about sex and puberty this video is, by far, the most medically accurate, thoughtful, and easiest to understand. It is the single most important tool for parents with children who have questions about the "birds and the bees"." Dr. Brandon Davison-Tracy MD, Board Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
"This video presents the subject with honestly and integrity. To allow our kids to maintain a sense of balance is paramount in today's sophisticated and complicated world. Communicating with our children gets more and more challenging as they get older and this video encouraged our family to discuss the difficult subject of human sexuality. A must for any concerned parent". -Baby Land Station review
" Many parents rely on books to provide information about puberty and sex for their children. This video does the job just as well, if not better, in providing a brief overview of the facts, hitting just the right tone throughout.." Ann Oldenburg- Parents' Choice"
