AVN Nominates Women of the World for BEST ALTERNATIVE VIDEO--Award Ceremony on Jan. 10th in Las Vegas!

Miami, FL December 10, 2003--AVN (Adult Video News) recently announced the Women of the World Videos featuring Rio de Janeiro have been nominated for the BEST ALTERNATIVE VIDEO in this year's 21st Annual AVN Awards. Winners will be announced at the AVN Awards Show on Jan. 10th at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"We were thrilled when we got the news," said Dan Ripoll, co-producer of the Women of the World Series. "This is our first video series so just to be nominated is a great honor. And if we win? Forget about it—you'll have to pry the grin off my face" laughed Ripoll.

AVN reviewed over 7,000 new productions in all categories over the course of 3 weeks to determine the final list of nominees.
The Women of the World Videos were created by Dan Ripoll, Stanford graduate and successful day trader, and Andre Stokes, Harvard MBA and veteran of the investment banking industry. Frustrated with the lack of quality, organized travel information available for single males, Ripoll and Stokes set out to create a series of videos that were not only sexy and entertaining, but also very informative.

"Most men don't even know that some of these places exist," said Stokes. "What makes our videos different is we don't just show you the parties, women and nightlife—we show you how to get there and enjoy it for yourself"

The videos deliver an insider look at Rio's hottest party spots along with useful travel information about the various locations. In addition, detailed travel guides are available on the company web site, www.4womenoftheworld.com, for each destination featured in the videos. Future titles will include other cities in Brazil, Thailand, Cuba, Russia, and more.

"We created the series because we figured there were more guys like us out there who were looking for something more than the drunken stupor of your standard Spring Break vacation" says Stokes. "Whether we win or lose, we feel the AVN nomination recognizes that people really appreciate what we're trying to do, and that means everything to us."
